Saturday is market day, and Olhão waterfront is the best place to be. Olhão market is the cheapest place to pick up fresh fruit and veggies direct from the farmers next to the market halls along the waterfront. I always buy too much as struggle back to the car, laden down with kilos of tomatoes and lemons. It’s really good value and there’s lots of unusual veg you can’t buy anywhere else.
